Welcome to Our New and Improved Campground!
We are excited to share this new adventure with you at River Valley Campground LLC.
Below are some of the events for the 2026 camping season.
Each month you will be given a more detailed events calendar.
If there are activities that you would like, please feel free to contact us.
Please note: all events will be in the pavilion unless otherwise specified
May 15-17 Seasonal Opening Weekend
- Saturday, May 16 – 1:00 pm – Seasonal Meeting and May Birthday Celebration
- Sunday, May 17 – 10:00 am – Seasonal Breakfast
May 22 – 24 – Memorial Weekend
- Saturday, May 23 – 1:00 pm – Bingo and Poker games
- Saturday, May 23 – 7-10:00 pm – DJ Chuckles will be playing
May 29-31 Grand Opening Celebration
- Saturday, May 30 – 1:00 pm - ?pm – DJ Chuckles, Food Trucks, Bounce House, Face Painting, Give aways and more!!
June 5-7 Pirate Weekend
- Friday, June 5 – 7:00 pm – Golf Cart Parade – starts at the office. Decorate your golf cart as a pirate ship!
- Friday, June 5 – Treasure Hunt Kick Off – Pick up your treasure hunt list in the office. This event will run until 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 7
- Saturday, June 6 – 1:00 pm – Pirate games and costume contest
- Saturday, June 6 – 6:00 – 10:00 pm – Critical Path will be playing
June 12-14 weekend
- Saturday, June 13 – 1:00 PM – Sip and Paint and Cornhole tournament
- Saturday, June 13 – at dusk – Movie night – bring your blanket, chairs and snacks.
- There will be free popcorn available
June 19 – 21 – Father’s Day Weekend
- Friday, June 19 – 7:00 pm – Left, Right, Center and Cards – Bring your favorite drinks and join us for some fun!
- Saturday, June 20 – 1:00 pm – Father’s Day Tie Contest and Ice Cream Sundae’s.
- Father’s wear your best tie
- Saturday, June 20 – 7-10:00 pm – DJ Chuckles is playing
- Sunday, June 21 – 9-11:00 am – Father’s Day Breakfast
June 26-28 – Relax and kick back
Relax and enjoy the campfire this weekend. Sometimes we just want to sit back and enjoy some unstructured time. Have a few drinks with your neighbors and make some s’mores.
July 3-5 – Fourth of July Weekend!
Decorate your sites for Fourth of July! Winners will be announced on Saturday night!
- Friday July 3 – 7:00 pm – S’mores at the community campfire. Bring your drink of choice and a stick. We will provide the rest. Be prepared to tell some ghost stories.
- Saturday, July 4 – 11:00 am – Water Games – Bring your water guns, balloons and anything that might get you wet!
- Saturday, July 4 – 1:00 pm – Fourth of July Cook Out – Bring a dish to pass. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided.
- Saturday, July 4 – 5:00 pm – Fourth of July Parade – Meet at the main office to start the parade. Decorate your golf carts, bicycles or yourself!
- Saturday, July 4- 7-10:00 pm – DJ Chuckles will be playing
- Saturday, July 4 – 9:00 pm – Fireworks!!!!
July 10-12 weekend
- Saturday, July 11 – 1:00 pm – July Birthday Celebration with cake and ice cream
- Saturday, July 11 – 6:00 pm – Game night and community fire
July 17 – 19 – Christmas in July
Decorate your campsite! – Winner will be announced Saturday night
Toy drive for a local charity!!
- Saturday, July 18 – 11:00 am – Camp field days – Be ready for some fun competition! – Christmas themed three-legged race, egg race, gift toss and more
- Saturday, July 18 – 6-10:00 pm – Critical Path playing
July 24-26 – Relax and kick back

July 31 – Aug 2 – Redneck/Hillbilly Weekend!
- Saturday, Aug 1 – 1:00 pm – Backwoods tug-of-war, axe throwing, hillbilly golf and more
- Saturday, Aug 1 – 7-10:00 pm – Costume Contest and DJ Chuckles will be playing
August 7 – 9 weekend
- Friday, Aug 7 – 7:00pm – Community Fire – bring your favorite drinks and snacks
- Saturday, Aug 8 – 1:00 pm – August Birthday Celebration with cake and ice cream
- Saturday. Aug 8 – 2:00 pm – Bingo!
- Saturday, Aug 8 – Dusk/9 pm or so – Movie night – bring your chairs, blankets, and drinks,
- Popcorn will be available
August 14-16 – Hawaiian Weekend!
Decorate your campsite in your best Hawaiian Theme! Winner will be announced Saturday night
- Friday, August 14 – 7:00 pm – Cards, left-right-center, or any game of choice
- Saturday, August 15 – 1:00 pm – Pulled pork cook off!
- Bring your best pulled pork and/or a side dish to pass for our Hawaiian Luau!
- Saturday, August 15 – 7-10:00 pm – DJ chuckles will be playing
August 21-23 – Relax and kick back

August 28-30 – 80’s Weekend!
- Saturday, August 29 – 1:00 pm – Bingo!
- Saturday, August 29 – 6-10:00 pm – Costume Contest and Critical Path will be playing
- Wear your best 80’s outfit!!!
September 4-6 – Labor Day Weekend!
- Saturday, Sept 5 – 1:00 pm – Carnival games
- Saturday, Sept 5 – 7-10:00 pm – DJ chuckles will be playing
September 11-13 – Halloween Weekend!
Decorate your campsite and get ready to hand out candy to trick-or-treaters on Saturday, Sept 12
Best Campsite will be announced Saturday Night
- Saturday, Sept 12 – 1:00 pm – Halloween parade – meet at the office with your decorated golf cart, bicycles, etc.
- Saturday, Sept 12 – 3-5:00 pm – Trick-or-treating – All ages can trick-or-treat at campsites participating in the activity. There will be signs posted at the participating campsites
- Saturday. Sept 12 – 6-10:00 pm – Critical Path will be playing and there will be a Halloween party and costume contest
September 18-20 – Friendsgiving Weekend!
- Friday, Sept 18 – 7:00 pm – Come hang out at the Community Fire!. Bring your favorite drinks and your sticks for s’mores. Let’s reminisce about the camping season and hear your best stories
- Saturday, Sept 19 – 1:00 pm – Friendsgiving Pass-a-dish
- Saturday, Sept 19 – 7-10:00 pm – DJ Chuckles will be playing!
September 25-27 – Chili Cook-off!
- Saturday, Sept 26 – 1:00 pm – Chili cook off and non-birthday celebration.
- Bring your best chili to enter the competition. Your fellow campers will be the judges.
- Everyone who has a birthday form September through May will be celebrated with cake and ice cream
- Saturday, Sept 26 – 7:00 pm – Games in the Pavilion – Cards, bingo, left-right-center
October 2026 – Pack up time!
October 10-11 – Final Close Up Weekend!
